TownSteel RFID Card

For use with all TownSteel 5000 series locks. Including E-Elite, E-Smart, and E-Genius 

These cards are not only convenient for the end user but are SUPER easy to program in to TownSteel Locks.

TownSteel 5000 Series RFID Key Fob / Keycard Programming

Add an RFID Keycard or Key Fob

1. Press *, then #.
2. The lock will emit an audible beep.
3. Enter the Programming Code, then press #.
4. The lock will beep again, and the green LED will flash.
5. Enter the user slot number where you want to store the keycard or key fob.
   • Example: To program the card into User 2, press 2.
6. The lock will beep again.
7. Hold or tap the RFID keycard or key fob against the keypad.
8. When programming is successful, the lock will beep once more and the green LED will flash.

Notes

• RFID keycards and key fobs are programmed into the same user slots as user codes and can be used interchangeably.
• Multiple RFID keycards or key fobs can be programmed during the same programming session by selecting another user slot and repeating Steps 5–8.
• The same RFID keycard or key fob cannot be programmed to the lock more than once.
• To exit programming mode, press * or wait approximately 12 seconds for the lock to return to Idle Mode.
