Use these special machine screws when replacing a stripped out latch or face plate screw mounted in a steel door or frame.

The screw has a standard #8 phillips flat head but the body has a 10-32 thread.

This allows you to tap the stripped hole to 10-32 and make a quick repair.

Overall length is 1/2 inch and screws are available in two finishes to match existing hardware.
